Who is Paper Wings?
Jason Gibaud and Michelle Fallon had successful careers in interior architecture and film and theater design. Including Jason working on the Moulin Rouge as the Head Art Finisher and Star War: Episode II as a costume designer! The birth of their daughters was the catalyst to the creation of Paper Wings. Michelle and Jason sought a more family-oriented life that allowed them the ability to pursue design without the irregular schedule and constant travel demanded by theater and film production. Originally from Australia, Jason and Michelle now live in Vietnam to fulfill their dream of a work-life balance. Their full-fledged design house is all in one location, allowing for complete control of the entire process. In Saigon, they work with local craftspeople to create each Paper Wings collection.
“Our collections are characterized by a broad variety of shapes, patterns and prints
that reflect our delight commitment to making children’s high fashion that’s
playful, interesting and comfortable.” -Jason
In celebration of childhood, each season Paper Wings Clothing creates original prints, patterns, graphics and styles. At the core, they believe that clothes should be fun.
What’s in a name?
“The Paper Wings name evokes all of the feelings we craft into our collections” said Michelle. The designs are first put on “paper” and then they are given “wings” though the imagination and production.

Paper Wings Style and Fit
Paper Wings in such a thoughtful and unique brand. The Jason and Michelle believe that children's clothing should grow with the child. Paper Wings’ clothing is cut generously and often has ties and drawstrings in strategic places to make their clothing fit for a long time. This allows clothing to fit for a year or two, so you can order the child's normal size and expect to get a lot of wear out of it.
Paper Wings’ Commitment to Quality
Paper Wings Clothing has their own production studio, one of the few children’s brands in the world that do! Michelle and Jason oversee the entire process allowing them control over all aspects of the production process. This means Paper Wings owns and lives next to its their factory in Vietnam resulting in their fabrics being created and produced ethically with the intention and integrity. The fabrics are soft, typically organic, and wash really well. Jason and Michelle are normally at the factory daily to oversee the production. Want to see it for yourself?
