Boys' fashion: function meets style
Posted on March 08 2018
Some of the boys who come into our Ridgewood kids' boutique are the coolest cats around. They put together outfits we never thought to combine, and show us the true meaning of clothing as expression. From camo shorts to acid washed tees, we search high and low to find hip boys' clothing they'll actually love wearing (yes, we know this is a challenge).
Let them mix and match prints they love, even when they don't seem to go together, and watch their inner self shine. If you haven't already, try the boy collections from Australian brands Paper Wings and Munsterkids. Unique and super cool, these brands make bold use of patterns and colors that stand out in a crowd. Paper Wings in particular makes the most original graphic tees we've encountered, depicting everything from flying squirrels dreaming of being dragons to snorkeling jungle animals.
Below are some pictures from one of our in-store fashion shows, with local kids showing off their self-combined outfits featuring Tiny Whales, Paper Wings, Someday Soon and Appaman. Whether they are dabbing or just hanging out with their brothers, these boys rock their looks on and off the runway.
